Create a new WP Squared account
Overview
You can create a new WP Squared account with WHM’s Create a New Account interface.
Domain Information
The Domain Information section defines basic settings for a WP Squared account.
New WP Squared accounts need the username and password that you enter here to log in to their accounts.
All accounts require the following information:
Value | Description |
---|---|
Domain | The domain name for the account (for example, example.com ). You can either choose a domain that you own or choose to add a domain later. If you choose to add a domain later, we will assign a temporary domain name to your website. A temporary domain name is a random domain name that acts as a placeholder so you can design your website before you make it available to users. Temporary domain names will not show up in search engines or affect SEO rankings. |
Username | The username for the WP Squared account. |
Password | The password for the new account. Note:
|
The contact email address for the new account. |
Package
The Package section allows you to assign a package to a new WP Squared account. A package defines the account’s limitations. For example, a package can determine how much disk space the new account can use or how much data the account can transfer. Some hosting providers use the term “domain templates” to describe this concept.
- Choose a Package — Allows you to assign an existing package. To view the package’s configuration hover your cursor over the magnifying glass icon (
).
- Select package options manually — Allows you to edit package settings manually. If you select this option, the Save Manual Settings as a Package checkbox will appear with new options.
