Enable the Imunify Security WordPress Plugin

Overview

The Imunify Security WordPress plugin brings Imunify360 directly to your customers. With this plugin, users can view malware scan results, see cleanup actions, and monitor their site’s protection — all within the WP Admin Dashboard.

As a hosting provider, you can enable this feature for your users.

How to enable the Imunify Security WordPress plugin

You can choose one of the following methods to enable the plugin for all WordPress® sites on your server.

Enable via WHM

To enable the Imunify Security WordPress plugin in WHM, navigate to WHM’s Imunify360 interface. Click the settings (). Scroll down to the WordPress plugin section and select the Install WordPress plugin checkbox. Then, click SAVE CHANGES.

Imunify360 will begin installing the plugin across all WordPress installations. The process runs in the background and may take a few hours to complete.

Enable via the CLI

To enable the Imunify Security WordPress plugin using the command line interface (CLI), run the following command in the Terminal interface:

1imunify360-agent config update '{"WORDPRESS" : {"security_plugin_enabled": true}}'

This command installs the plugin across all WordPress sites on the server. Installation begins immediately and proceeds in the background.

How to disable the Imunify Security WordPress plugin

Once installed, the Imunify Security WordPress plugin appears for your customers in the WP Squared interface in each site’s Expanded Website View under the Plugins tab. If a customer prefers not to use it, they can disable it directly from their dashboard.

Users can also disable the Imunify Security WordPress plugin from their site’s WordPress Admin Dashboard. Navigate to Plugins, then Installed Plugins. Find the plugin and click Deactivate.
