Manage Themes and Plugins

Overview #

You can manage which themes and plugins are on WordPress® websites in WHM’s WP Toolkit interface.

Sets #

A set is a predefined list of WordPress plugins and themes. You can create and manage these sets, and assign one or more to your WP Squared users’ WordPress websites.

When you assign a set to a WordPress website, WP Squared installs the plugins within that set on the website. Your WP Squared users can select from the themes within the set.

Create a set #

To create a new set, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Sets tab in the WP Toolkit interface.
2. Click Create Set.
3. Enter a name for the new set in the Name field, then click Create.

After you create a new set, you can update the set to include themes and plugins.

Update a set #

To add existing themes or plugins to a set, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Sets tab in the WP Toolkit interface.
2. Select + Add Themes or + Add Plugins for the set to update.
3. Select Add Theme or Add Plugin, then type the name of the theme or plugin in the search text box.
4. Select the search icon (). A list of relevant themes or plugins will appear.
5. Select the checkbox next to each theme or plugin to add to the set, then click Add.

To upload a theme or plugin from your local computer to include in a set, perform the following steps:

1. Save the theme or plugin to your local computer in a .zip file.
2. Navigate to the Sets tab in the WP Toolkit interface.
3. Select + Add Themes or + Add Plugins for the set to update.
4. Select Upload Theme or Upload Plugin, then click Browse….
5. Open the .zip file, then click Upload.

Assign a set #

To assign a set to one or more of your WP Squared users’ WordPress websites, perform the following steps:

1. Navigate to the Sets tab in the WP Toolkit interface.
2. Select the ellipses menu () for the set to assign.
3. Click Install Set.
4. Select the checkbox for the website to which to assign the set, then click Install.
